TorgyTalk is a show where every Friday Jon Torgersen and his Co-Host/Producer Jack Mann Johnson interview comedians and other artists all over the Chicago/Milwaukee area. Jack also sits in every Monday and feeds Jon information to rant about for a weekly rendition of what we call TorgyThoughts. Last but simply not least is our Wednesday "BALL BOYZ" episodes where Jon and his best friend Jake Wember discuss sports (mainly Chicago Bears Football). So whatever it is you are wanting to hear you will most likely find it here on TorgyTalk. Or not honestly, you'll hear what you want and then some.

This week's guest is none only than Chicago comedy legend Vince Maranto. Vince had been doing comedy for 43 years in Chicago. He has worked with names like Tracy Morgan, Bob Odenkirk and even Norm MacDonald. Vince shares some amazing stories with us on what it was like coming up as a comic in the 80s and 90s. Starting back in 1982 Vince shares with us the pay scales that club comics would earn depending on experience. We were honored to have someone with such a resume sit down and share some fun stories and some comedy wisdom. We cannot wait to have him on for future episodes and more amazing stories of life as a professional comedian.
